957011 - Investigation - irrcloud.com not loading properly in win8 touch mode

Tested on 2013-12-17 using latest nightly. When I load irrcloud.com on desktop mode and then go into Win8 touch mode, the page doesn't load all the elements that you can see in desktop mode, and you cannot use the functionality at all.

Steps:
1. Assuming you have an account on irrcloud.com, load it in desktop mode and login to it. If you connect to a server and channel by default, even better.
2. Go into Win8 touch mode from the customization menu

Expected: The site above loads and you can interact in IRC.

Actual: The page only loads a few elements, but you don't see the area where you would normally see the irc chat. I only waited half a minute, but that should have been enough to load completely.

I tried to pin down reproducible STR for this and so far have been unable to. It seems you get different behavior when you load it up in fxmetro vs. load in desktop then switch to metro. I've seen it work perfectly in fxmetro, but I've also seen the layout be drawn with missing sections. 

I've not much more to offer at this point. I can keep looking, but would take any suggestions on what to try or particular info we might need to at least classify the nature of the issue

Sam, care to dump this one for it22 and take bug 957011? I did a little work there but wasn't successful as I don't know much about session store restoration code. I think though that the core issue is in bug 957011.
