User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140102004005 Steps to reproduce: Open a form select which has a lot of elements - more than can be displayed at once. The version select list on this "Enter A Bug" page is a good example. Actual results: Some of the options of the form select are displayed, but there is no visual indication to the user that there are options outside those visible - see screenshot 1. E.g. If there are 20 options, then options 1 to 15 might be displayed without a scrollbar, leaving the user to think they are seeing all the options, when they aren't. Expected results: A scroll bar should be displayed indicating to the user to scroll for more options. The scroll bar does display if the user starts scrolling the list, but this is only helpful if the user guesses there might be more options in the list and tries scrolling.
Hi Bradley Is there a minimized testcase or URL we can use to test?

How the select options display when the element is opened. Note option 21 is not visible and there is no indicator to the user to scroll for more options, leading them to think they are seeing all the options in the list when they are not.
The scroll bar does display if the users tries scrolling the list - but they's only of use if they guess that there are addition options out of view.
This is on OS X 10.9.1 Mavericks. The scrollbar within the select option list is behaving like the main window scrollbar does under Mavericks - only displaying when the user is scrolling through the options. Safari on Mavericks has a similar behaviour - but it does display an arrow indicator at the bottom of the option list to prompt the user to scroll for additional options.
