User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20131205180928
Steps to reproduce:
Using trebuchet MS (the default font for phpBB), rendering several font sizes of the same text in a D2D accelerated Firefox.
Actual results:
Several letters, especially those with 45 degree angles (for example the 'w'), are scaled very poorly in the 120-125% range, making them hard to read and ugly. See attached screenshot.
The same thing happens when using page zoom to enlarge text, and/or when using the (common) "medium" sized font setting on HiDPI screens.
Expected results:
Font rendering should be sharp and readable at all sizes.
