I keep clicking links to The Verge on Android and they don't load in Firefox. The same problem manifests in desktop Firefox if you try to load the mobile page. Compare:
http://mobile.theverge.com/2014/1/13/5305282/google-purchases-nest-for-3-2-billion (loads a banner ad, then just sits waiting for more data)
http://www.theverge.com/2014/1/13/5305282/google-purchases-nest-for-3-2-billion (loads fine)

The mobile site loads fine in desktop Chrome, so I think this is probably on their end.
I have tested both on Firefox for Android and Firefox OS (version 26) and I had no issue.
Could someone else test too and close it with WORKSFORME.

ted, do you still see the issue. Erase Cookies and data before.

so adam has tested and it seems it is working for him too.
Reopen if there are more details about the issue.

Also WFM. Possibly a network hiccup or dependency on a sluggish ad script?
I'm still seeing the issue, even on a fresh profile. It reproduces on all my machines. It's possible it's something specific to my ISP.

I just opened the web console on the page, and I see:
" [ 0.002s] [studio.sdk]
" Enabler.js:98
" [ 1.004s] [studio.sdk] Using default ad parameters in test environment. Simulating local events.
"

Do you see that on a successful page load?

On a test profile with AdBlock installed things load successfully, so it must be ad-related somehow.
Hmm, there might be something going on indeed. Forgot about AdBlock (>_>), with that disabled it sort of looks like there's a stray document.write() blowing away the page and then I get NSL, "Transferring data from (some ad URL)".

The console looks kind of crazy too, in Nightly. It shows me reloading the page from "wyciwyg://7/http://mobile.theverge.com/" after the page is overwritten.

I'll see if I can take a closer look tomorrow.

OK, today I can't reproduce, which makes me think there was some misbehaving ad script yesterday that's been fixed.

How does it look for you Ted?
This works for me now. It probably was a buggy ad script.
