Works for me with latest Nightly on Win 7 64-bit. Could you please try the following : 1) try this with a clean profile: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles 2) running in Safe mode: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
Component: Untriaged → Toolbars and Customization
seems to work with a new profile and in safe mode. But the problem appears again after switching back to default settings... Do I have to "Reset Firefox" or something similar?
> But the problem appears again after switching back to default settings... Yes, the problem appears again with the initial profile you were testing with. If it works with a new profile and in safe mode, then your original profile might have some add-ons or it's using something else that cause the problem.
