The bug has made it to the appropriate team, they will work to update the redirect logic.
Still getting the desktop site, checking in with our contacts.
Site vendor is MadMobile (http://www.madmobile.com/clients). Seems we have other bugs open for their clients. I have asked if Lenovo can get them to contact me directly about the other bugs.

Unfortunately MadMobile only supports webkit browsers on mobile, also they do not manage the desktop version of the site.
