https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/search?css_classnames=licenseblock returns 15 hits. 13 of them are from the book "Creating XPCOM Components" by Doug Turner and Ian Oeschger, which is under the Open Publication License. E.g.: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Creating_XPCOM_Components We should ask Doug and Ian whether this content is still actually relevant and useful, and if it is, whether they would consider relicensing it under CC-BY-SA to match the rest of the wiki. 1 of them is this: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/CSS_Support_Charts which is under CC-BY-NC 1.0, and which says: "At the moment, the charts only cover browsers up through IE5.x, NS6.0, and Opera 4, which were the most recent versions available at the beginning of 2001. There are efforts underway to update the charts to cover more recent browsers, but this will take some time. Thank you for your patience." The three links to the actual support grids are broken. So I assume this page also can be removed. The last one is the page describing the Alternate License Block itself. If we can remove or relicense all content of this type, this means that MDN would be under a consistent set of licensing terms, which would mean that people could reuse the content as a body (e.g. put it on a CD or mirror it) without having to worry about multiple sets of licensing terms. sheppy: does this sound like a plan to you? It is in my Q1 plan to have new CSS Support Charts, https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/CSS_Support_Charts can be made a REDIRECT then. Also we have a couple of other places which has an Original Document Information, like https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Guide/CSS/Understanding_z_index that I would like to get rid: it basically scared anybody wanted to update the page. I think we just need to make sure the author is credited with the other (as the license is the CC-by-SA), (Adding myself in needinfo so I don't forget about CSS_Support_Charts)

Those Original Document Information blocks are a separate issue; as long as the content is CC-BY-SA, they aren't as much of a worry. Gerv
