The <select> element seems to be failing in Android ... I noticed this while testing "adding a new preference" in the new about:config, and trying to change the preference |type|. The attached script works for me in FF/Metro, FF/Win 8.1 Desktop, and FF/*nix Desktop, but fails on my FF/Mobile on a GS III and an N7. This *was* working when we moved about:config to m-c.
