Details

Not sure where this usually comes from, but the installer at scorpionsaver.com installs the add-on bypassing about:newaddon. Its instances in the wild are nearly all foreign installs, and nearly all enabled. There are a fair number of reports on SUMO and elsewhere complaining about this, so I suspect that most of the users are coming from side-installs rather than this installer.
