STR: 1. Open about:newtab 2. Try to print the page (using the CMD+P keyboard shortcut or File > Print menu) 3. You will see a "Printer Error: Printing XUL documents is not supported." error dialog. 4. Dismiss the dialog and enter a URL into the address bar. RESULT: Nothing happens. The entered URL is not loaded, though the tab can load bookmarked pages. This is a regression in Firefox 28. I bisected this regression to the following mozilla-inbound pushlog: https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/mozilla-inbound/pushloghtml?fromchange=fbc0b4c30fd0&tochange=2b398758366c
Blake: could this error dialog behavior be a regression from your fix for bug 933483? That bug is in comment 0's regression range.

Note that this bug is no longer reproducible because bug 965693 removed this error dialog. However, I'm not closing this bug yet because there may other STR that are affected by the event handling changes in bug 933483.

I couldn't reproduce this, even with the warning alert. However, we have other bugs filed where we don't unsuppress event handling correctly after alerts, so it's likely that this is another symptom of that problem.

activity stream took over, it's printable, and this cannot be reoroduced anymore. Doesn't look actionable in this state.
