Details

Reproducible on Firefox 24.3.0ESR (buildID: 20140128141233): Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:24.0) Gecko/20130205 Firefox/24.0 Reproducible on Firefox 27.0 RC (buildID: 20140127194636): Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:27.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/27.0 Reproducible on the latest Aurora (buildID: 20140130004003): Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:28.0) Gecko/20130205 Firefox/28.0 Reproducible on the latest Nightly (buildID: 20140130030202): Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:29.0) Gecko/20130205 Firefox/29.0 Steps to reproduce: 1. Start Firefox. 2. Open http://prawn.majesticseacreature.com/manual.pdf in a tab. 3. Change the zoom to 125% (or any other) 4. Click on 'Toggle Sidebar' and select 'Show Document Outline'. 5. Click one paragraph (eg: Graphics) Expected results: Pdf jumps at the selected paragraph and the zoom option is not modified. Actual results: Zoom is changed back to 'Page Fit'. Notes: 1. This issue is not a regression: it reproduces back to Firefox 19.0 2. This also reproduces on Windows 8x32, Ubuntu 12.04x32 and Mac OS X 10.9.1 3. Adobe does not have this issue.
PDF.js (similar to the Adobe Reader) just follows the links and respects properties/attributes, which force "Page Fit" scale, as specification requires. The Reader behaves exactly the same way. Closing it as invalid.
