If the password is auto-filled in either the create account or sign in dialogs, a user action (clicking 'show' or adding and deleting a space, for example) is required before the 'Submit' button is enabled. I suspect that auto-fill doesn't traverse the same code-path as onkey events.

We're also listening to onchange events. My experience from building password managers is that this is a challenge. Forms autofilled by privileged code sometimes doesn't trigger the appropriate events. This won't block Fx29, but I filed an issue on the content server: https://github.com/mozilla/fxa-content-server/issues/593

Closing this bug as the issue is being tracked over in github. INCOMPLETE is not my favourite resolution, but it's the closest available, I think.
