When user navigates to nytimes.com and inputs a stock symbol (i.e. AMZ) in the search stock quotes box without tapping the go button and scrolls to either the top or bottom of the page without selecting the keyboard or another article, the user experience is for the screen to scroll back to the stock symbol search box. This behavior does not reproduce on a user Android with Google Chrome browser or on laptop with Firefox browser on the mobile version of the site. This behavior eliminates user option to exit the tab, adjust preferences among other things on Buri device and doesn't mirror behavior of other devices.
Repro Steps:
1) Updated buri to BuildID: 20140127004002
2) Tap Browser App
3) Navigate to nytimes.com and scroll to the Markets section
4) Beneath Nasdaq, tap in the search box to cause the pop up keyboard to display
5) Enter a stock symbol in the search box without selecting the Go button
6) With the keyboard still visible, attempt scrolling to either the top or bottom of the web page
Actual:
Once at either end of the page, the screen automatically goes back to the enter stock symbol area of the page
Expected:
The user remains at either the top or bottom of the webpage
Environmental Variables:
Device: Buri 1.3 MOZ
BuildID: 20140127004002
Gaia: 25a45a836a4a21a30f63fa7b544b42e8b781180a
Gecko: c40099a42c1f
Version: 28.0a2
Firmware: v1.2-device.cfg
Other notes:
1. Attempted STR on desktop Firefox browser on the mobile version of site and the expected result of remaining at either the top or bottom of the webpage occurs
2. Attempted STR on Android device with Google Chrome browser and the expected result of remaining at either the top or bottom of the webpage occurs
3. http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/nytimes.com lists this URL as ranked 35 in USA and 120 globally
4. Repro frequency: 90% (18 of 20)
5. See attached: video clip example from Buri device http://youtu.be/DuGoqtStpfo

This issue reproduces on Buri 1.2. Following the STR in Comment 0 causes the result of once reaching either end of the page, the screen automatically goes back to the enter stock symbol area of the page.

I don't see this problem in a Firefox OS 1.4 preview build. This doesn't sound like a tech evangelism bug in the first place, more like a bug in core's focus / blur handling for an element.
