That image is broken, but yes, I've seen this too. Not sure exactly what in layout, but something in that area (views, rendering).

Sounds like bug 95703.
Severity: major → normal
Status: NEW → ASSIGNED
Target Milestone: --- → mozilla1.0
I have seen this in build 2001091303 on Windows 98. Junk appears in the blank areas of a page element made with the HTML tag <select>. The blank areas are present when the <select> element does not have enough entries (<option>) to fill it. Junk appears when you scroll up from below the element and stop so that only the bottom of this element is visible. It does not matter if the scrolling is done with the mouse, Up Arrow key, or Page Up key. To see the problem occur with Page Up, look at bug 93736, hit Page Down 1 time and Down Arrow 16 times to get below the <select> element, then hit Page Up.
I can not reproduce the problem with 2001101205 0.9.4 build on WINNT.
Peterson: can you try to reproduce on WIN2K and WIN98. I can not reproduce on WINNT?
Target Milestone: mozilla1.0 → mozilla1.1
Bulk moving Mozilla1.1 bugs to future-P2. I will pull from this list when scheduling post Mozilla1.0 work.
