From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.3) Gecko/20010801 BuildID: 20010801 I have the mozilla "quick-start" tray icon loaded. After a day or two of constant use [i.e windows worked for two days straight :-)] I find it hard to connect to news [i.e timeouts] when I click on the mail/news program. [i.e I open mozilla news reader]. When I opended my firewall program I saw mozilla had about 15 open connections [even when no active mozilla window was open]. If I close the tray-icon and reload it I can read my news fine. I think it's just that the sockets are not closed properly when you close the windows and leave the tray icon open. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open quick-start 2.repeatedly open/close mail/news reader 3. Actual Results: Timeout on news/mail reading. Expected Results: Shouldn't time out.
Possibly a dup of bug 95130?
I'd say this is either bug 67957 or bug 66150
