We (necko people) believe the failures here are coming from the devtools code rather then the new cache directly, hence moving to the devtools component.

This problem seems to be very hard to repeat. I've ran the test a LARGE number times on my linux machine without triggering!
After trying to reproduce this issue for a while, and considering the crash date, it seems that this bug is a duplicate of Bug 957504 and seems to be fixed.
