Details

[reported in bug 968740 comment 4] [sorry if I'm filing this in the wrong component; please reclassify as-appropriate] STR: 1. Load http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/aurora/all/ 2. Click any download link (let's say the first one, for Acholi Windows) ACTUAL RESULTS: I'm taken to https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-28.0a2&os=win&lang=ach which currently says: { Not Found The file you were looking for was not found. To find what you are looking for, you should try these links: Mozilla Firefox Mozilla Thunderbird Other products... } I'm not sure if this is a one-off issue, or something that can crop up every 6 weeks when we do a release & increment the version-number. I'm assuming the later for now, since it is release week (with Aurora moving from version 28 to 29), which seems suspicious. I'd imagine that we'd be able to stage the new downloads in such a way where the download links continue to work correctly. e.g.: first we upload the new installers alongside the old installers; and then once we're sure that's all done, we update the website so that the download links point to the new installers; then, we delete the old installers. See also bug bug 950119 (which is about a different set of download links).
(Note: I tried editing the URL of the "not found" page to replace "28" with "29", but that didn't help.)
I only see links to http:/ftp.m.o on that all page, so something must've changed in the website setup. ni on pmac for the bug for that, and for where this should live.
