When following the in-product link to this article - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-sync-works-old-version-firefox using Firefox for Android 30 the showfor defaults to: Firefox Version 27 Android Firefox for Android Version 30 With this setting the desktop specific sections don't display. If you change the Firefox settings to: Firefox Version 27 Windows 8 Then the article displays correctly.
