RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 45008

People

(Reporter: bugzilla2009, Assigned: hewitt)

Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.3) Gecko/20010801 BuildID: The GIF's used for the UI are bigger (bytewise) than they need to be. This is mostly due to the fact that the files are made with more colors than they actually use. Reducing the bytesize of theese files should save just a tiny bit of memmory and diskspace. I posted this bug , because I could optimize the files , and post a patch and instruction how do this, myself. (I'm not sure if this cuounts as a RFE or a performancebug .. i'm guessing the latter.)
confirming this bug. Reporter, Please attach a Zip file of the optimized Gif files. (With directory structure if possible.) Then, the developers should be able to simply replace the files as needed.
