User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20131205075310 Steps to reproduce: So, I have a HP computer that has the HP Simplepass software enabled. Obviously, HP simplepass was installed on Firefox as a add-on. Now when I disabled it, it shows a empty space in the URL bar. (See attachment) Why does it do this and is there a way to not make this happen? I don't use Simplepass for Firefox but for my Windows login. Therefore, it's not necessary for me to have it but disabling it in Firefox makes it show this empty bar. (See attachment) Actual results: it shows a empty space in the URL bar Expected results: Should have been normal with no space.

Disabled add-ons can't do this. It's likely the problem is caused by another add-on or maybe some configuration problem. I would recommend trying to troubleshoot this at http://support.mozilla.org/. If it turns out to be an add-on problem, you should contact the developer to report it.
