Starting about a week or so back the Mozilla nightly builds for Mac OS and Mac OS X have failed to completely render the content of <http://abc.go.com>. Some background content fills in but some images and text for almost all the links does not. I am currently running Build ID: 2001082408 and it shows the problem. Running Netscape 6.1 the site renders properly. I also run builds on NT 4 and do not recall with confidence whether the problem is occurrring there. I'll add more info to this report when I can check the NT 4 situation. I'll also give some earlier builds that I may have a try to bracket the point where things went bad. PS: I did search for a bug to tack this report onto, but had no luck. Dale
WFM using Mac/2001082408. Reporter, does it happen using a new profile?
Further testing results on this problem, leading to a change in Status. I tried some alternatives to the standard profile that I have been using persistent from one build to the next. 1. I duplicated the profile I use with Netscape 6.1 (which does render the abc.go.com main page correctly.) Using this duplicate with Mozilla nightly Build ID: 2001082408, I found the abc.go.com page rendered correctly. 2. I created an completely new profile using Build 2001082408. With this profile, the build rendered abc.go.com correctly. These results indicate that a problem in the old profile is causing the failure to render correctly. I haven't identified the problem. However,, using the new profile, I could not file this bug report due to another (I believe known) bug that interfers with Bugzilla. So here I am running the old profile that doesn't have a problem with Bugzilla. Changing bug Status to INVALID. Dale
