seen on recent builds of mac OSX

-compose a mail message with html text
-send it

a confirm message pops up with the follow:

There was a problem including the file
file:///os%09.1%3ax/private/tmp/501/temporary%20items/nsmail.html in the
message. Would you like to continue sending the message with out this file?

seems to send okay

marking this invalid....it turns out the it's a no no to have a "/" in the
volume name. It was causing confusion to the os when NS6 was looking for
certain local files. Ducarroz championed this one. Thanks much Jean-Francios!!

Reopening. Having this break when the user has a / in their hard drive name is
not acceptable.

Now that RDF persistence has been fixed to deal with /'s in a path (#113894)
this bug should also be fixed right? Please verify and close if so.

I think I need more specific steps to verify this, because I tried to reproduce it
with a 10-19-2001 build on Mac OS 10.0.4 so I could see the problem and I did
not see it. The depends bug 113894 wasn't fixed until 1-31-2002 so I should
have seen the problem with the old build, I'm not sure if OSX 10.0 was a factor.
In any case, with build 20020227 Mac OSX 10.0.4, I can send without error a
mail message that contains a link to our ftp site, an attachment that was taken
from a location on my hard drive and an embedded image that was taken from a
location on my hard drive. All of them included "/" in the location of the file.
If this is not testing the reported problem sufficiently, please update this bug
with steps.
Discussed at 3/4 Mail & News bug mtg with Mktng, Eng., and PjM. Decison was to
mark WFM.
