I'd like to be able to run the test suite without having to install elastic search.

Currently, my tests will hang indefinitely if elastic search isn't installed and I run all tests.

Fixes bugs 971032 and 971919 - Fixed delay before failure in unit tests, fixed elasticsearch host everywhere.
