Details
Log statistics from the "process incoming" code to a remote collector so we can get visibility into the following:
- Per channel error and success rate
- Throughput
- Machine shutdowns (from autoscale events)
- Whether cleanup was required (and completed) on shutdown.
- Any other stats of interest
