In many, but not all cases, when there is an Acrobat document open in the
browser window, you can not exit the browser, either by using
the menu item or the short cut. You have to leave the
Acrobat page to exit.
On some machines here at Adobe (not related to OS), this
happens on EVERY PDF file. One some machines, it happens
on only certain PDF files. The URL above seems to make
it happen on all machines.
It doesn't seem to matter whether it is OS 8.6 or 9.X (didn't
test OS 10).
Also, it seems that the short cut key doesn't work most
of the time. The menu item doesn't work some of the time.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install Acrobat 5 (if you are on OS 8.6, you will need to drop
the PDFViewer plug-in into the mozilla plug ins directory.
2. Go to the above URL.
3. Attempt to exit mozilla using the short cut or the menu item.
Actual Results: Nothing happens.
Expected Results: Mozilla exits.
