97354 - Outliner's selection doesn't paint properly

Its difficult to describe this bug in summary so my description is pretty lame..
Let me explain.

When I start mail/news for the first time my default account is displayed
expanded and there is a light gray highlighted bar over my Inbox. The bug is
that that bar does not extend all the way into the chooser column. It stops at
that column (note not the unread/total columns but the column with which I
choose those columns). When I collapse/expand the account, the selection bar
then encompasses the chooser column. In fact if I never exapnd/collpase then all
the mailboxes/folders get selection bar which does not go all the way. 

Got this in build 2001082808 (don't believe my useragent string)

The comment on the attachment should read

Notice that the light gray(blue) bar on n.p.m.builds does not extend all the way
to the splitter bar. There's some whitespace in between (which is the width of
the column chooser column). This whitespace goes away when you exapnd/collpase
accounts.

My guess is that this is a problem with the outliner. I think that if I had a
scrollbar on the side, then things would be fine. Is the outliner assuming
there's a scroll bar and highlingting only till the scrollbar? I know zilch
about outliner/mos so I might be way off....

Changing OS to All, this happens to me in win98, with build 2001092503.
Don't know if it'd be better at XP Toolkit/Widgets Tree.

I think it has something to do with the outliner scrollbar.
Maybe it's related to some already filed outliner bug.

I'm also seeing this and just like Jan Varga said, I believe it's a duplicate 
of bug 80834. It's happening for all outliners and it seems indeed that they 
assume there's a scrollbar on the right side and only draw the focus & 
selection highlights up until the non-existent scrollbar.
