Build ID: 1999071218 Platform: Mac OS 8.5 only; 8.51 and 8.6 seem to work OK, as do Win32 and Linux To reproduce: - Launch apprunner - Select any menu item from any menu (eg File | Quit, File | Open, Edit | Preferences). Result: Nothing happens. Expected result: The menu item is selected.

This is a general Mac OS issue - you have to click once in an open window to give a window focus. If you don't, no window has the focus, and therefore no menu items work. Probably a duplicate bug. cc'ing joki.
I should mention that this isn't 8.5 specific; happens on 8.5x and 8.6.
