975172 - Leftmost character missing in url bar after text selection

Recreating STR from memory, I apologize if they are slightly off (the idea is to select and move left though):

0) Go to a page with a url long enough to overfill the url bar
1) Swipe to bring up the app bar
2) Tap the url bar to cause text selection
3) Grab the leftmost nub and drag
4) Tap the text so the selection ends and a single nub appears
5) Scroll left until it stops scrolling

Expected: The URL is shown until the end of the screen
Actual: The URL, sans the leftmost character, is shown until the end of the scroll

Note that steps 0-3 are from bug 975168 and may be related.

Unknown hardware, build version, and os version - I used it at the Metro meet and greet.
