97520 - Attempting to use the Java chat applet cause the entire browser to crash

If I attempt to log into Yahoo! Chat, using the Java chat software, the browser
will display "Loading Java applet" for a while, before completely crashing. This
happens every time I try to login to Yahoo! Chat.

I'm using the mozilla-0.9.1-4 packages for Debian, along with the Blackdown Java
2 SDK, package name j2sdk1.3-1.3.1-1

I see no crash with a current CVS build on Linux. I see nothing actually - the
applet doesn't load.

This is a dup of bug 84865, which again is an unconfirmed dup of bug 83826
Another bug relating to the same applet at chat.yahoo is bug 77857.
