Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux i686; rv:27.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/27.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140218140052

Steps to reproduce:

Install Ubuntu

Actual results:

Firefox is only supplied in the latest version from the "release" channel

Expected results:

There should be an option to install Firefox ESR

There already exists a PPA but it is not launched yet:
https://launchpad.net/~team-esr/+archive/firefox-esr

see: http://askubuntu.com/a/305203/34298
Version: 27 Branch → unspecified
Please add the corresponding bugs.launchpad.net link to the "See Also" field when this is filed there. CCing some folks I see on launchpad with PPA interest.
To my knowledge, Mozilla does not maintain any PPAs. Given that we don't do this for our normal user branches I don't anticipate we'll do it for enterprise user branches. I trust someone in the Ubuntu community will resolve this if the need is there.
