I think this is similar conceptually to bug 976527. STR: 1. load the current week's sale flyer page from ncix.com. eg http://products.ncix.com/promo/FantasticFeb2014.htm Yep, it's pretty slow in fact nearly pathological - over 1,000 requests and something like 3.2MB in the page. 2. open the netmonitor, then do a hard refresh. Loading should take minutes and Firefox becomes incredibly sluggish. I wonder if we can improve interactivity here? 3. open the network pie-charts. I've never seen them actually come back with an analysis. they just stay in the loading phase.
