There has been a regression on Bug 322367 and the we're seeing the availability of the Firefox plushie at a level similar to that before this previous bug. The exact effect this is having is uncertain, but people around the world are possibly feeling a lack of cuteness which may be a contributing factor to increased stress both domestically and in the work place. Please bring back the Firefox Plushie.
This has to happen. Hes not only major cute but if it does not happen I will personally camp outside mozilla naked.... Seriously....
cuteness levels reaching critical lows...if...only...i...could...just...hold..firefox plushie...i think i would make it :)
Looks like the Foxkeh plushie generated quite a bit of attention at MWC, so I guess that's what people are talking about.
We have sent an exploratory team deep into the wild to see if they can discover and observe Firefox plushies in their natural habitat. They will bring back a report on the possibility of bringing these creatures to Mozillians...stay tuned.

Changing the summary, it's an honest mistake but to be clear, people are asking about the Foxkeh plush. We also had red panda plushes which would be what people mean when they say "Firefox plush" in the past.

I want one too! I had my hands on it already on the MWC in Barcelona, but had to give it back :..(
I think we need to do some testing before releasing another batch of plushies to Mozillians although we have noted the possibility of increased crashes without some relief in the form of cuteness.
[Let's not take this too far, this is a serious request, but I can't resist for this one comment] bkerensa, I'm happy to help with crash testing efforts here as well, given that I have a lot of experience with our crash-kill/stability efforts in other Firefox-branded products.

I can automate testing on the beta build :D
I will be happy to test the mobile version of this by placing one in my bag for whenever I leave my house, also happy to test localisation by visiting various countries while the plushie is in my possession.

Excellent question! While our team was wandering through the jungle in search of this rare creature we encountered a similar team comprised of a couple of other Mozillians (Geoffery & Gustavo, cc'd here) on a mission to find items to put in a new public-facing Mozilla Store coming later this year. Given that they are on point for merch items like this going forward, my recommendation is that Geoffrey & Gustavo add this to their list of store merch, and I will assist however needed to make that happen G&G - how does that sound? And can we add this to a topic list for our next meeting? I know we've sort of discussed it already, but I have some more specific thoughts.

Foxkeh levels of cuteness are too high, and there are so few of them so its a endangered species, i would suggest to use advanced breeding methods used by the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute in Virginia to bring more Foxkeh into the wild www.
Foxkeh is pretty much the cutest thing ever, and I need it in my life. Please make the plush available for purchase.
My three-year-old loves to spell out the word F-I-R-E-F-O-X, but unfortunately I have no plushie to show him a real life example of. Does Mozilla not care about his education?

I just want to report that this issue is dramatically hindering our Firefox Cuteness project

New plush isn't Foxkeh, but it's very fluffy. I can't complain :3
While the new plush is fluffy, still it doesn't meet the required cuteness level to fix this bug. I still insist on Foxkeh implementation!
Looks like an early BETA-Version, but looks good already (fluffy!) and finally someone took care of that issue! Thanks for that! If it's not "out of stock" anymore I will get one and do some acceptance and penetration tests and let you know!

Indeed, there seems to be a large population in a certain plenary waiting to be tamed. The population seems to be a newer breed of Foxkeh than the small pack I saw in the Mozilla Tokyo office (picture attached)

I am happy to announce that I have begun a captive breeding program for these adorable plushies. It is my hope to one day have these available as pets for all those who love a free and open internet.
This is not fixed by Mozlando as the Foxkeh plush still isn't available in the shop yet. Moreover, the Mozlando plush is not a Foxkeh plush and therefore has nothing to do with this bug.

I can confirm that the lack of Foxkeh breed is not resolved by the new species found in Comment 41. We want the Foxkeh found wild on Mozilla Japan as shown on Comment 40
I thought someone had already commented here or somewhere else, but Foxkeh itself is not for sale. It has never been sold even in Japan. The bug summary is not correct.

As Kohei has said, the Foxkeh plush has never been and likely never will appear in the store, so any Foxkeh plush lovers will need to do something else to get one (will write code for Foxkeh!). The plush that was available in the store is a different plush, see bug 322367.
