Steps to reproduce:

I click on a disabled item in menu panel.



Actual results:

Menu panel closes, leading frustration especially if a disabled item is near active ones and got wrongly clicked.


Expected results:

Panel should remain opened as when is clicked in an empty space.

With which button(s) do you see this? I can't reproduce with the feed or character encoding buttons, for instance (which are the easiest to test because they're builtin widgets which are disabled on about:blank/about:newtab). Note that bug 946166 might be a duplicate of this bug.

Sorry it's a duplicate, I tried to search without results. However it happens even in other disabled items (e.g. "Report Web Forgery..."). This bug can be closed, sorry again!
