Adobe has released a critical update for Flash on Feb 21st which will fix an exploitable behavior in the most recent version. Please see the URL for details. The versions which have to be updated to are: Windows / Mac: 12.0.0.44 Linux: 11.2.202.336 Andreea, can you please take this?
Sure. I'll start with staging first.

As an update, according to the url, the right versions are: Windows / Max: 12.0.0.70 Linux: 11.2.202.341 Staging state so far: mm-osx-107, mm-osx-108, mm-osx-109
Ups. Thanks for the correction. I accidentally have taken the wrong versions out of the support document from Adobe.
Staging state - done: ub-1204-32, ub-1204-64, ub-1310-32, ub-1310-64, win-7-32, win-7-64, win-81-32, win-81-64, win-xp-32. On windows machines I also deleted c:/jenkins. Moving on to production.
As part of the monthly update schedule Adobe has released another update of Flash yesterday: http://helpx.adobe.com/security/products/flash-player/apsb14-08.html Andreea, would you mind to check our Win 7 64bit machine in staging if an update solves our problem with Flash? I don't really expect this but it would be good to know. Before we start to upgrade the machines, lets sit together and figure out a plan how we can do this best.

Summary: Update Flash on all machines for Feb 21st release → Update machines for the latest updates of Flash and MS security fixes
Adobe has released a security update in 11/March/2014 The versions which have to be updated to are: Windows / Mac: 12.0.0.77 Linux: 11.2.202.346 I already updated the staging nodes.
It happened again that the documentation has NOT been read carefully. Cosmin, you installed Flash on the 10.6 boxes, which we don't want! Its explicitly called out in the ESX documentation. As result we had two endurance testruns which completely filled up our master with their log files with 7GB in size of each! So we most likely have had no testrun on Sunday due to out of disk space of the master. I cannot repeat it often enough, read the docs carefully and actually read them again before doing any action to ensure all steps are clear and updated to the latest information.
I'm sorry I missed that, I read the documentation again today and I found that note. I updated the mac nodes and I will continue with linux.
I removed Flash from all OSX 10.6 nodes.
The tests have started so I will have to continue latter. I have left the mm-ub-1310-64-2, mm-win-xp-32-1, mm-win-xp-32-2, mm-win-xp-32-3 and mm-win-xp-32-1.
I updated all the remaining nodes, deleted the workspace on windows nodes and checked for popup on ubuntu nodes. Thanks.
