Details

When I visit a URL which prompts for username and password, but which is on a non-80 port (i.e. something of the form http://www.fake.com:7070/ ), Mozilla keeps remembering new instances of my username / password, each time I visit. After a while I am offered dozens of entries to log in as when I arrive at the page, one for each time I have logged in. Also, I am only prompted for whether I want these details on the _first_ time - subsequently I am not prompted, even though Mozilla saves a new lot each time. If this isn't a dup (I couldn't find any reference to the problem anywhere) I'll rustle up a URL and username/password to do it on. Unfortunately the (client) site that this happens for me is too confidential for me to give out the URL publicly.
Reporter hasn't posted a URL that demonstatest this, so I'm forced to close it out as wont-fix. If you can "rustle" up a non-confidential URL that demonstrates this, then please reopen this report and I'll investigate further. Actually this might be a dup of bug 95350. Reporter can comment on that if appropriate.
