User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:30.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/30.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140303030201
Steps to reproduce:
Access HD video at http://launch.ebenpagan.com/accelerate/prelaunch-1/video/
Actual results:
On Linux, trying to play this video, I get no audio.
If I access the video via Windows7 running on VirtualBox in this same Linux system, audio is there; though quite choppy. Also, unless the video is paused on W7, cpu goes to 100% playing this video.

WFM with latest Nightly on Ubuntu 13.10 x86.
Could you please try the following :
1) try this with a clean profile: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles
2) running in Safe mode: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
Component: Untriaged → Video/Audio
Product: Firefox → Core
Followed your instructions. Running in safe-mode with a fresh profile, I have NO audio at all (even on HTML5 media); as opposed to only no audio on the above webpage.
Going directly to the video at http://pdl.vimeocdn.com/00147/331/229388045.mp4?token2=1394564847_78062cb39075ff058b105f7b8b7dd690&aksessionid=68a47ff66cda1fef gives no sound.
Since this video is from Vimeo, tried other Vimeo videos and NONE have audio.
Sites using Flash work fine.
Tried audio formats at http://hpr.dogphilosophy.net/test/index.php and only .flac does not work there.
The reported video is hosted by Vimeo -- found that I get no sound on any Vimeo video. This is a recent issue since I used to get audio on Vimeo.
Found http://hpr.dogphilosophy.net/test/index.php -- all formats, except .flac, work on my regular profile and the new fresh one.

We've rewritten most of the video code used on Linux. Is this still an issue?
WOW! It looks awesome now! GREAT work!
