That'd make you think it was some odd needs-clobber, except for https://tbpl.mozilla.org/?tree=Try&rev=bfee51e9ff3c where the first run of Win8 debug browser-chrome hit another intermittent, so the poor guy retriggered, during the 16:00 hour, and hit this. https://tbpl.mozilla.org/php/getParsedLog.php?id=35865141&tree=Try WINNT 6.2 try debug test mochitest-browser-chrome on 2014-03-09 16:10:55 PDT for push bfee51e9ff3c slave: t-w864-ix-103 16:15:04 INFO - TEST-INFO | chrome://mochitests/content/browser/browser/base/content/test/general/browser_aboutHome.js | Check that performing a search fires a search event and records to Firefox Health Report. 16:15:04 INFO - ++DOCSHELL 0F625258 == 16 [pid = 2252] [id = 30] 16:15:04 INFO - ++DOMWINDOW == 37 (1FDDEE28) [pid = 2252] [serial = 81] [outer = 00000000] 16:15:04 INFO - ++DOMWINDOW == 38 (1FDDFE20) [pid = 2252] [serial = 82] [outer = 1FDDEE28] 16:15:04 INFO - [2252] WARNING: NS_ENSURE_TRUE(mMutable) failed: file c:\builds\moz2_slave\try-w32-d-00000000000000000000\build\netwerk\base\src\nsSimpleURI.cpp, line 265 16:15:04 INFO - TEST-INFO | chrome://mochitests/content/browser/browser/base/content/test/general/browser_aboutHome.js | Waiting for snippets map 16:15:04 INFO - TEST-INFO | chrome://mochitests/content/browser/browser/base/content/test/general/browser_aboutHome.js | Wait tab event: AboutHomeLoadSnippetsSucceeded 16:15:04 INFO - ++DOMWINDOW == 39 (1FDE9268) [pid = 2252] [serial = 83] [outer = 1FDDEE28] 16:15:04 INFO - [2252] WARNING: NS_ENSURE_TRUE(mMutable) failed: file c:\builds\moz2_slave\try-w32-d-00000000000000000000\build\netwerk\base\src\nsSimpleURI.cpp, line 265 16:15:04 INFO - [2252] WARNING: attempt to modify an immutable nsStandardURL: file c:\builds\moz2_slave\try-w32-d-00000000000000000000\build\netwerk\base\src\nsStandardURL.cpp, line 1216 16:15:04 INFO - [2252] WARNING: NS_ENSURE_TRUE(isFileURI) failed: file c:\builds\moz2_slave\try-w32-d-00000000000000000000\build\content\base\src\ThirdPartyUtil.cpp, line 284 16:15:04 INFO - TEST-INFO | chrome://mochitests/content/browser/browser/base/content/test/general/browser_aboutHome.js | Got snippets map: { last-update: undefined, cached-version: undefined } 16:15:04 INFO - TEST-INFO | chrome://mochitests/content/browser/browser/base/content/test/general/browser_aboutHome.js | Tab event received: AboutHomeLoadSnippetsSucceeded 16:15:04 INFO - TEST-INFO | chrome://mochitests/content/browser/browser/base/content/test/general/browser_aboutHome.js | Running test 16:15:04 INFO - TEST-PASS | chrome://mochitests/content/browser/browser/base/content/test/general/browser_aboutHome.js | Health Reporter instance available. 16:15:04 INFO - TEST-PASS | chrome://mochitests/content/browser/browser/base/content/test/general/browser_aboutHome.js | Searches provider is available. 16:15:04 INFO - TEST-INFO | chrome://mochitests/content/browser/browser/base/content/test/general/browser_aboutHome.js | Perform a search. 16:15:04 INFO - TEST-PASS | chrome://mochitests/content/browser/browser/base/content/test/general/browser_aboutHome.js | Detail is search engine name 16:15:05 INFO - TEST-PASS | chrome://mochitests/content/browser/browser/base/content/test/general/browser_aboutHome.js | Health Reporter instance available. 16:15:05 INFO - TEST-PASS | chrome://mochitests/content/browser/browser/base/content/test/general/browser_aboutHome.js | Searches provider is available. 16:15:05 WARNING - TEST-UNEXPECTED-FAIL | chrome://mochitests/content/browser/browser/base/content/test/general/browser_aboutHome.js | One more search recorded. - Got 2, expected 1 16:15:05 INFO - Stack trace: 16:15:05 INFO - JS frame :: chrome://mochikit/content/browser-test.js :: test_is :: line 714 16:15:05 INFO - JS frame :: chrome://mochitests/content/browser/browser/base/content/test/general/browser_aboutHome.js :: gTests<.run/onSearch/</< :: line 123 16:15:05 INFO - JS frame :: resource://gre/modules/Promise.jsm :: Handler.prototype.process :: line 774 16:15:05 INFO - JS frame :: resource://gre/modules/Promise.jsm :: this.PromiseWalker.walkerLoop :: line 653 16:15:05 INFO - native frame :: <unknown filename> :: <TOP_LEVEL> :: line 0 16:15:05 INFO - TEST-INFO | chrome://mochitests/content/browser/browser/base/content/test/general/browser_aboutHome.js | Cleanup My current best wild guess is that something in the bowels of FHR looks back 14 hours, which today would have been an hour which did not exist, and as a result decides that 1+0=2. My alternate wild guess is that some invisible external dependency (gavin says my theory that it's Google, since this test completely horrifies me by actually doing a Google search and then trying to stop it by mashing the equivalent of the Stop button, is incorrect) was broken for a while and then got better.
