We've had new interest from Ranjith Raj Vasam, so taking new action on this bug. The process for adding a new localization is on: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/MDN/Contribute/Localize/Starting_a_localization Telegu is enabled in Pontoon, and has about 75% of the UI translated: https://pontoon.mozilla.org/te/mdn/ Next steps: 1. (Ranjith) Add a new section for Telugu to https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/MDN/Contribute/Localize/Localization_projects 2. (jwhitlock) Add Telegu as a candidate language for development / staging server

Telugu is now enabled on the staging site: https://stage.mdn.moz.works/te/ "Telegu" is at the bottom of locale lists, not where you'd expect in alphabetical order. It will move to the right position when we enable it in production. Please take a look at different pages, and try some test translations to exercise the translation interfaces. If you make changes in Pontoon, I'll update them on Mondays. Let me know if there are important ones that you want to ensure are in the updates. Once you're happy with the implementation, we can proceed to the next step.

Sorry about that. There was a configuration issue on staging, but it is back up again. Please take a look: https://stage.mdn.moz.works/te/ Telugu won't be enabled on developer.mozilla.org until you've had a chance to test account creation, translations, etc. on staging.

I'm sorry, Ranjith Raj Vasam, I meant to set the needinfo to you, not dyvik100. Can you try out our staging server and test if more work is needed for Telugu? https://stage.mdn.moz.works/te/ Things to test: * The home page * Signing up for a new account * Translating a document When you confirm the Telugu translations are sufficient, I can enable it on developer.mozilla.org.

Adding the locale leader from the Telugu team page [1] Dinesh Mv, it appears the MDN UI is well translated at 74%. Are you OK with Telugu being enabled on MDN? [1] https://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Teams:te

Hi, Please proceed with enabling the content on MDN. We will be privileged to see our locale on MDN

Thank you Dinesh and Ranjith. I'm away from work until next week, and then I'll enable Telugu on developer.mozilla.org.
Telugu was enabled last week: https://developer.mozilla.org/te/ MDN నుండి నమస్కారం!"
