We met today to define creative elements. Jen, you and I can get together for a few minutes on Monday to go over these but they should be ready to send to a designer.
Creative elements:
- Headline: There's never been a better time for Firefox
- Photo/Graphic: Photo from Summit of the Firefox crowdsurfing
- Firefox logo + wordmark
- URL: mozilla.org/firefox
Size: A1

Lizz, can you confirm the due date for this? Hoping that it can be pushed back a little bit. Assigning over to Lee.

Friday April 4 is fine. We are going to try to do as much local production as possible but still communities will need the 3 weeks to identify printers and get the posters produced.

Hey Lee - wanted to check in to see if we're on track for today's due date. Thanks!
Flags: needinfo?(ltom)
Hi Lizz,
After several discussions with the Creative team, we felt a need to promote the Australis in a more simplified/iconic way. The crowd-surfing fox is on a short list of images to use since it's great, but executionally, will be better served in a different context. The unique visual through-line for *most of the Australis promos will be the tabbed-shaped bounding box which nods to our UI enhancements while staying out of the way of the header we choose.
With regards to the header, my understanding is that, “There’s never been a better time for Firefox” might need to be re-written in-lieu of what Mozilla is currently going through. Is this something you can confirm?
It will be easy enough to swap out headlines, but here's what the poster looks like, otherwise.

Adding to what Lee said, the Creative team talked and felt that the crowdsurfing fox option we discussed last week was probably best served for something else. Happy to discuss that more if you'd like.
I like this approach for this deliverable. That said, I think it's very likely that we'll be changing that tagline. Would recommend pausing here and then (hopefully) finalizing with an updated line on Monday.
As for this specific design, since it's a poster it feels like it should be A1 vertical, not horizontal. Or am I missing a detail?
The dimensions are set as A1, just rotated 90 degrees as the horizontal orientation fit the content/layout better.

Australis messaging has not changed. Here's the final art as PDF

PDF file couldn't be uploaded. Here's an AI file that might suffice for printers. If not let me know.

Hi,
Is there any centralized effort to create localized version of this poster? I happy to provide the Hungarian translation if you can provide the localized poster.

Also I would like to do one (or two) rollup in Hungarian described in 984190. Thanks!

Just flagging this as another asset that will be affected by the headline change.
