There're lots of moduels in system relying on navigator.mozMobileConnections We will not need them on non-phone devices like tablet or TV. Proposal: Use MobileConnectionManager to load all mobileConnection relevant modules when it detects there're navigation.mozMobileConnections.

Cool! Is there any wiki page (etherpad) with info on what this API would look like? Would all apps be expected to use this rather than the raw mozMobileConnections API?
