User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_9_2) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/33.0.1750.152 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

I open a private browsing session, navigate to some URLs, then hit the back button multiple times (very quickly) to leave Firefox.


Actual results:

When I reopen Firefox, it shows the private tabs.


Expected results:

It should close those private tabs automatically when leaving the app.

When you hit back, you are not 'closing' the application. It is still running as an Android background process. Swiping Firefox off your running application listings will close the application.

I understand that. What I mean is that pressing the back button quickly should at least go back to the private mode empty tab and then "exit".

I just tried to replicate this again, but pressed the back button at a slower pace. It worked as expected (it went back to the first empty tab in private mode and exited).

So this only happens when I press very quickly. Maybe it's an android issue? Not sure, because it does not happen in Chrome when using incognito mode.

Hello,

I couldn't reproduce this issue following the steps from the description on the latest Nightly and Beta 62.0b5 builds with a Samsung Galaxy S7 Android 7.0.
Note that every time when I pressed the back button quickly it worked as expected and the "about:home" was displayed when launching Fennec again.

I will close this issue as worksforme based on my comment, if this is still reproducing for you, please re-open it and mention what device and build you used.
