Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; SunOS i86pc; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140317101559 Steps to reproduce: When pressing a download link, the file is saved as zero size file. The contents of the file are saved on /tmp. I have seen this behavior on recent version of OpenIndiana and on Solaris 11. BTW, I have noticed also that I cannot install media download addons. Actual results: The file is empty while a file with the actual contents appear on /tmp. The media download addon is downloaded but then nothing happens. Expected results: The file should be there where the user specifies. And the addon should be installed.

Thanks for the report, Apostolos. Ioana is this something your team can try to reproduce? Thanks!

I wasn't able to reproduce this issue with latest Nightly 31.0a1 on Ubuntu 13.10 x86: the downloaded files were saved where the user specified and the addons (I tried with: Media Converter 1.0.3 and Media Stealer 1.3.4) were installed. Unfortunatelly we don't have Solaris OS, so we can't try on that.
