STR:

1. Go to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/29.0/firstrun
2. Start the first run tour.

Expected:
The tour runs smoothly on all 4 steps.

Actual:
During the highlight animation a graphical glitch can be observed around the highlight. It can be observed more easily on step 4 but is present in all steps.

Can you try to start "compton" to see if it fixes the problem?

I've tried several hours to switch from compiz to compton on my Ubuntu 13.10 without success. When I will have more time available I'll try further but for the moment I can't provide you with an answer.

Not tracking. Just like bug 980220, compiz is not much used and the glitch only occurs in the tour.

Hello! I have tried to reproduce the issue with firefox 126.0a1(2024-03-28) on Ubuntu 22.04 unfortunately the issue is no longer reproducible and I will mark this issue as RESOLVED->INACTIVE.

If this issue is valid please feel free to reopen it.
