The patch in bug 969012 just got backed out again for triggering a crash in B2G. This is most likely an ARM codegen issue, given that it's predecessor triggered an assertion on that platform. To keep this bug from blocking GGC landing, we should just take the small perf hit on EB in GGC and bail to allocate in this case.

This is sadfaces, but I think we should do it for now to keep whatever the underlying problem is from blocking GGC landing.
