It would be really cool if you could use about:config to edit your preferences
files. (prefs.js?) This was mentioned in both bug 37592 and bug 57969 by Seth
Spitzer. Ideally you could edit in place, like you can modify filenames in a
windows explorer file list.

Saw this in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.3+)
Gecko/20010904.
i think this might be a dup of bug 17199. pls let me know if it really isn't...
