Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140318013849 Steps to reproduce: Firefox auto-update. Actual results: After Firefox auto-update the browser tabs moved to the top of the window. Expected results: Since Firefox is explicitely configured to place the tabs directly above the diplay area, it should do what it is told to do (browser.tabs.onTop = false). Before the update Fixefox was the only major browser that could be configured to honour the laws of ergonomics. Please bring back this unique feature. There are many users who consider it to be very important.
This is intentional, see bug 755593. There are extensions to give you back this functionality if you want it as Firefox is still very flexible: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/tabs-on-bottom/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/
