987399 - Sometimes apps are installed but do not show up on Homescreen

For example, I installed Rormix from the Marketplace. However it's not anywhere on the Homescreen.

I can click the [launch] button in Marketplace and the app launches.

This is on Nexus 4, build from 3/24.

It works on Gecko-b31f92b Gaia-4f78fe5 (master build).

It works fine for me on 1.4 Gecko-4159b06.Gaia-a10224e as well

Maybe there is not oninstall event in Nexus 4, no idea, sorry :( I don't have this device so I cannot help here

Dietrich, do you remember if all your homescreen panels were full?

I think that it is fixed after landing bug 1008161

Mass update: Resolve wontfix all issues with legacy homescreens.

As of 2.6 we have a new homescreen and having these issues open is confusing. All issues will block bug 1231115 so we can use that to re-visit any of these if needed.
