Details

Alcatel One Touch Fire FxOS 1.2.0.0-prerelease Line App https://marketplace.firefox.com/app/line?src=search I had used Line app the day before. I launched switched to Line app, which re-launched it. I got a bunch of push notifications all at once, from several different Line conversations. These didn't come down in near-realtime as they occurred. The phone was on with good battery.
Can you reproduce this or point out the specific situation in which it occured? Were you on 3g or wifi during the time the notifications were finally received? Did the conversations themselves update before the notifications arrived? That is, was any conversation you were having with friends updated in real-time even if the notifications arrived later?
I'll try to reproduce. I was probably on Wi-Fi. The conversations updated with the notification arrival.
I reproduced this with and without being on Wi-Fi. 1) turn of Wi-Fi 2) Send message on Device A (iPhone) 3) wait 30 minutes 4) Launch Line on Device B (FxOS) Actual - push notifications and messages show up at once Same repro, but turn on Wi-Fi
Has Line managed to reproduce this and can I be put in touch with someone there? It may be a server issue or a client issue and we need to figure that out first.
I suspect this was fixed by bug 1080752.
