98950 - Can't launch helper app for streaming M3U playlists

Mozilla doesn't launch the helper app (Sonique) for playing streaming mp3 audio,
while IE on the same PC has no problems. It just prompts (Open this file with
Sonique vs. Save it to dist). I select 'Open with Sonique', it seems to download
the m3u playlist, but nothing else happens, while in IE it spawns Sonique and
starts playing

Reopening.  I very much doubt this is a dup of bug 78943 unless there's some
information not reported in this bug that I should know about....

I think it is a dupe. The mime type audio/x-mpegurl is instead reported as
audio/mpeg-url, and thus the helper app is not triggered.

file handling. That particular site seems to come up a lot as a trouble spot, so
setting status to NEW to get this investigated.

mass verification of WorksForMe bugs: to find all bugspam pertaining to this,
set your search string to "IfItWorksForSlappyTheSquirrelThenItWFM".

if you think this particular bug is *still* an open issue, please make sure of
the following before reopening:

a. that it's still a problem with ***recent trunk builds*** on the all
appropriate platform[s]

b. provide clear steps to reproduce (unless a good test case is already in the
bug report), making sure it pertains to the original problem (avoid morphing as
much as possible :)
