Can you capture, save, and attach to this bug report a log-cat from your device detailing output as you attempt to launch the browser? Have you tried clearing data and cache, does that fix things? Can you also report on which device you are using?

As I recall, this typically means you're running the wrong architecture. Please do let us know which device you're using.
Device : Acer E350 By the way the beta version of firefox works just fine.

What happens if you uninstall and reinstall from Google Play? Same thing?
Acer E350 appears to be an arm v7 device
I have wanted to improve the error message in the case of mixed architectures for a while now, and possibly even show a toast, so adding myself to this ticket.
if I uninstall and reinstall from Google Play nothing changes the same thing if I clear data and cache.
(In reply to DRAIDIA Taha Ibrahim from comment #7) > if I uninstall and reinstall from Google Play nothing changes the same thing > if I clear data and cache. Mind if you install https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cpuid.cpu_z and report back on exactly what the reported CPU Architecture is. We're trying to understand which package is downloaded onto your device from Google Play (we serve different APK's for different device architecture).
Under the System tab you'll see 'Kernel Architecture'
Acer E350 is an ARM Cortex A9 here is his full specifications http://www.jawal123.com/18930433/en-us/Acer-E350-Liquid-Gallant#Chipset and this is what I got after recording with aLogcat W/ActivityManager( 239): Activity destroy timeout for ActivityRecord{416ff3a8 org.mozilla.firefox/.App} No probleme I will Install cpu_z and keep you informed
well I took screenshot to report back exactly what the reported CPU Architecture is. http://draidia.us/bugs/cpu1.png http://draidia.us/bugs/cpu2.png
Thanks. Nothing odd there. Stumped :(
(In reply to Aaron Train [:aaronmt] from comment #12) > Thanks. Nothing odd there. Stumped :( Like you said I m getting the wrong APK the arm works and i386 doesn't

Have we verified that this is caused by installing the wrong ABI? Reporter would you uninstall Firefox and install http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/releases/latest/android/multi/ and let us know if that crashes.
(In reply to Kevin Brosnan [:kbrosnan] from comment #14) > Have we verified that this is caused by installing the wrong ABI? Reporter > would you uninstall Firefox and install > http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/releases/latest/android/multi/ > and let us know if that crashes. Backchannel discussion on IRC verified that, he installed both ARMv7 and x86 and confirmed that the ARMv7 build works fine.
The issue has been solved thanks for your good work ;)
(In reply to DRAIDIA Taha Ibrahim [:BigBro] from comment #7) > if I uninstall and reinstall from Google Play nothing changes the same thing > if I clear data and cache. I'm confused by this; but you did mention in a personal email today that you cleared everything again today and it now works on your device. bug 990130 is open to track this issue as there are many other reports on Google Play, I suspect it's related to upgrades, native library availability and or correct pathing.
